The ICFP Board of Directors has pleasure in inviting you to development sessions on 18 October 2018.  This is an industry networking event intended to foster conversation and learning.
 
We are very excited to welcome Ms Fairial Bindeman and Ms Annalise Olivier as our guest presenters.
   

Fairial is currently a Risk Information Manager within Nedbank’s Group Financial Crime and Forensic Services and is responsible for managing a team who conducts the due diligence investigations for the Nedbank Group.

She has been with Nedbank since 2015 and prior to that she was with EY where she specialised in forensic investigation and fraud and corruption risk management.

Fairial is an admitted attorney and a Certified Ethics Officer.

Annalise is a senior manager in Nedbank’s Group Financial Crime and Forensic Services and corruption risk management within the Group has been part of her portfolio since 2010.

She is also the responsible person for ensuring that Nedbank complies with the UK Bribery Act 2010.

Annalise is a former prosecutor and admitted attorney.

Topic:

The sessions will be based on case studies:
 

Corruption  and the law – discussions about various legislation that impacts the management of this risk (this include UKBA/changes to PRECCA and FCPA).

We will also be looking at how we manage this risk in an organisation and performing a due diligence to understand who we are doing business with.
